  2. MamaZuber says:

Salman, you’re a star, thank you for keeping us up to date on our kids movements.
I hope Becca and Eve have a better night tonight- did they remember their cuddly toys? Ash might lend them one of his…
Ash- We hope you’re having a fantastic time, the activities sound amazing, your Dad is really jealous!
The house is so very, very quiet without you, I’m not sure I like it! Thea’s been drawing you pictures, you should have quite a few by Friday! I know you’re excited but try not to get up too early- Salman needs his beauty sleep.
Give Demitry & Korey a big hug from Thea. She hopes Korey doesn’t snore too much!
Big hugs & sloppy kisses, your soppy Mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  3. Clare Ludlow says:

Thanks Salman. So first things first 25 steps surely.
What a day you’ve had year 6 and good to hear GBBO is in the curriculum still.
So Wilf – little update from home. I went with Joe and his class on their school trip to the British Museum.
Mixed opinions on the dead body remains. Remember seeing them? Gil was horrified to be the only Ludlow left in Ashmount. But he just about held it together. Joe has admitted he’s missing you – abit!
Hope tomorrow continues to be as exciting as the last two days! Looking forward to hearing your tales.
PS nice work on the curry – those Friday nights paid off!

  4. Vicky & Ian says:

    Hey Louie!

I’m guessing that you were one of the early risers…. hope you managed to get some sleep at least! Lamb curry! Well you definitely wouldn’t get that at home. Hope you enjoyed it and ate the lot!
Life here continues to be very quiet indeed and Daddy is missing tickle time, while Big Zee and Poppy are still looking around for the next ball to be kicked around the house and are very surprised when it doesn’t come. They say “miaow”; Olivia says hi.
If you are watching Great British Bake Off (I know you love cakes, baking and competitions, so it’s perfect viewing for you…), one of the contestants recently left Daddy’s school – he’s called Liam and he’s quite a character, so watch out for him! Daddy also says you should ask Salman about the women’s football tonight – pretty good result.
It’s late now, so I’ll say goodnight. Make sure you actually sleep (how are you managing without listening to Capital?!!) – you’ll enjoy the activities more that way and be good to Salman and the other adults!
Love and hugs, Mummy, Daddy and Olivia
PS – Salman, I noted your instructions this time – no internet. I reckon there are 40 steps.

  5. Sultan says:

    Hi Jamie,
Hope you’re having a lovely time, the house is very quiet without you (your place is visible).
    Love you lots,
    Mum x
^^ couldn’t find the answer to the question… closest i got to an answer was 87?

  6. Matt Leys says:

    Hi Cora and Year 6!

It sounds like you’re still having an amazing time out there. Have you got your wellies wet yet? It’s very important that you get your wellies wet, apparently. But what we really want to know is…did you have the curry??

It’s still very odd here with no Moo! Trix and I went to a screening last night, of that programme based on Top Model that I worked on, it was really good and we both agreed you are going to LOVE it. It was a bit of a late night though so it’s not that easy getting someone out of bed this morning…

Mummy thinks the answer to Salman’s quiz is, 25 steps.

Keep having a brilliant time sweetheart, say hi to everyone and remember….get those wellies wet!

Lots of love from mummy and daddy xxxooo

  7. Margit Shorten says:

    Hello Lena and Ruby,
Well it sounds like you’re having the most amazing time and keeping very busy. Hope you’re getting a little bit of sleep too. I couldn’t find the answer to the number of steps – so here’s my guess – is it 55 – hope your pudding doesn’t depend on it? Can’t wait to hear what you’re going to get up to today. Life in London is a bit less exciting. Bentley just ate the light fitting that was on the kitchen table. He’s missing you sooooo much. And we are too obviously. So his new word for today (and mine) will be “”bumble” – which does not mean “to eat a light fitting”, MrB.

Sending you warm hugs and lots of love.
    Bye,
    Mummy, Daddy and Bentley

  8. belle wilson says:

    hi sylvie,

i hope your having a good time

    i am missing you.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  9. Catherine Burkin says:

    Dear Kip,
    Good morning my lovely.
I hope you’ve been getting some sleep in the beautifully made bed of yours. It sounds as if it was a very busy outdoor day yesterday and I hope you had some fun with your friends in the evening too.
I’m thinking about you lots and wondering what delicious things your eating while you are away :). Do they have treats in the shop??
Here’s a joke for you: What do you get if you cross a crocodile with a flower? I’ve no idea and I’m not going to smell it either. Maybe I’ll send another rib tickler tomorrow.
Piggy says hello and we’re wishing you lots of giggles on day 3 my lovely.
    Lots of love
    Mum xxxxxxxx

  10. Suzie Zuber says:

ps- We’re hoping there are 25 steps in the jubilee stairs. And that they’re sprayed silver. If not then they missed a trick.

  11. Catherine Burkin says:

Salman – 25.5 πŸ˜‰ (lost without the internet)

  12. Martyn & Alison Holman says:

    Hey Molly Moo,

We found the blog! It sounds like you are having an awesome time with all these activities and some great food. I know it is you who will have been rising early, keen as ever to start your day. I am sure you are keeping everyone happy with your beautiful smile and giggles.

We are all missing you madly here – Kwacha doesn’t know what to do with himself, and is quite despondent when he is forced to sleep in his box, rather than on the end of a princess’ bed! Archie is missing you big time, just like we knew he would.

We love you and miss you so much, and are so proud of you. See you on Friday.

    Love Daddy, Mummy and Archie

  13. Rebecca says:

Salman, we guess 25 steps for a silver jubilee. Thanks so much for the update. Jess M, we hope that you’ve had an opportunity to wear your wellies and waterproof trousers by now. Did your feet stay dry? We can’t wait to hear about all the activities on offer. I miss our conversations on the way to and from school, with all your interesting thoughts and observations. I’m not sure the term “verbal diarrhoea” is quite right for the school blog, so let’s just say that you can talk non-stop on our way home on Friday! Have another brilliant day with your friends. All our love, Mum, Dad and Charlie xxx

  14. Anonymous says:

Morning Bella & Amazing year 6 & team!

Hive challenge sounds exciting and I love orienteering, I wish I would be there….not to worry, I will stay promptly in London…. I bet you have been sleeping like a baby after running around in fresh country air the whole day.
Elicia has successfully managed to do her first full day at the nursery, afternoon nap included. So proud of her! She is loving her new friends, especially Alec who likes cars almost as much as Elicia does.
Cass was keen to take over your room especially when your sign “do not enter” dropped to the floor, unveiling another side of the sign saying “welcome to Bella’s room”. Not to worry, Elicia made her job to ensure that nobody goes to your room with sound effects.
I am sure you are having a ball sharing the room with Edie, giggles echoing through the corridors.

    Love you Bluebell!

Kisses & Hughes from Daddy, Aiti, Cass & Elli
    Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  15. Kati Saarinen says:

And the answer is of course 25 as silver anniversary. Hopefully.

    Kati

  16. Ben Ringham says:

    Morning Lila,

Hope you’ve had another fun day, remember to eat your sweets and brush your teeth really quickly…. if at all πŸ˜‰

It’s very strange you not being at home with Mum while I’m away. I know Zoe is missing you a lot.

    I think it’s 25 steps.

Love you Lila, always be yourself.

    Dad xxxxxxx

  17. Kate and Stephen says:

Thanks for update, Salman — my guess is 25 steps.

Ava P, we miss you very much! Pearl has been looking for you in your bedroom wondering where you are. Jackson and Scarlett frequently say how much they miss you (Jackson especially!), although they have been ensuring the noise levels in the house remain ear shattering, much to Maisie’s annoyance. I’m sure you can imagine. They collected a huge bowl of conkers from the garden and can’t wait to show you when you get home.

The activities you are doing sound brilliant. How did you get on with the archery? I’m sure you’re all having a great time together. Keep on adventuring, gutsy girl — I can’t wait to hear all about your week on Friday.

Sending you the biggest hug and all of our love xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

  18. Samantha says:

    Morning year 6 and kaedon
Your days sounds so eventful compared to mine I wish we could swap places (now that sounds like a brilliant idea )
Kaedon I hope your keeping your room clean and not keeping everyone and I’d be surprised if it was not you that woke up extra early.
We love reading the blog and can not wait for the next one.
Ps the food sounds amazing, enjoy the rest of you day
Love you loads kaedon love mum, ty, Alyssa, Bexley , also nanny charlotte nanny Mary Kayley and Brendon and kim said hi.

  19. Greg Foxsmith says:

    Hi Daniel F
It sounds like you you are having a great time!

I am in Birmingham presenting a case, a bit like the Hive Challenge I think.
Did you know Birmingham has more canals than Venice?!
I should be back by the end of the week, as will you-then we go camping with cubs for the weekend. Should be great!
Much love from me, and Adam and Mum as well of course
    X
    Dad (Greg F)

  20. Shabana Fazaldin says:

    Hi Sofia
Answer to the question is 25 steps!
It sounds like your having an amazing time.
I hope your not waking up at 5 am with excitement of the day ahead.
I found Mitzi at number 110 obviously refusing to come home.
I offered a meat stick didn’t work will have to offer a can of tuna silly cat.
Kadi is good, Mikail is sooo quiet without you his been crying every morning saying he needs a day off school!
He wasn’t on yellow yesterday that’s proof his got quieter let’s hope he stays like that.
Can’t believe it’s already weds already not long till we see you on Friday.
Love you lots Mum, Dad, Micky and kadi. Xxxx

  21. Celene and Paul says:

    Hi Amelia,

Really enjoying hearing all about what you and all of Year 6 are doing from Salman’s amazing blogs! Did you know he is setting test questions for the parents about the Margaret Macmillan centre which we all have to answer?! It’s like being back at school! I think the answer to the most recent question is 25 steps. I hope you guys earn some extra house points from this!

Did you see Arabella’s message to you? She included about 5,000 emojis in it, so I’m not sure if it actually reached you.

We are thinking about you always and imagining the fun adventures you’re having. Make sure you enjoy all the opprotunities that come your way. See you on Friday Amelia!

Lots of love, Mummy, Daddy and Arabella xxx

  22. Lucia (Lila's mum) says:

    My sweet Lila

It sounds like you are all having a wonderful fun time.

Home is not the same without you – we all really miss your lovely self…Sam keeps walking around our home looking for you and shouting ‘Illa’ ‘Illa’

I am wondering who you are sharing your room in the end – can’t wait to hear all about your week when I greet you on Friday!

Love you so much xxxxx Mum

  23. Stephen Peers aka Dad says:

Ava Peers has lovely ears (it rhymes)

I hope you have had a great day and that Caitlin (are you sharing with Caitlin?) didn’t snore too much last night. From what I’ve heard she’s definitely a snorer πŸ™‚ Anyway, I’m assuming you had a good night and I’m sure you have had a fun day. Mummy and I are missing you. The cats (both the black one, and the white one) are missing you too; I think. Although I still struggle to understand what they say as I never did learn cat. Jackson says hello. Scarlett shouts really loudly hi. Both of them are missing their big sis, and cant wait for you to get home to watch ‘Just add Magic’. Be good, be safe and have fun. Love you, Dad/ Daddy xxx

PS My guess for the steps is 25. It would seem appropriate for a ‘silver’ jubilee.
PPS Mummy, Jackson & Scarlett went out for dinner last night without us. So we’ll be doing the same when you get back!
PPPS I’m eating all the sweets in your sweet jar so that you don’t have to bother doing that when you get home πŸ™‚

  24. Joost Dantuma says:

    Hi Mario,
Sorry about that message. It’s aright: I caught the animals. They’re all back at home where they’re meant to be. I will punish their escape attempt appropriately.
In othe news: The next discworld book arrived. Otherwise all very dull here without you.
    Dad

  25. Selina says:

    Dearest Alex,

I hope you’ve able to get some sleep at night, sounds a little hectic. Anyway love enjoy yourself, before you know it you’ll be home.
OMG we missing you terribly, we are at a loss without you, you make the house a home son and I can’t wait for you to come back You’re presence is missed son – (Dad keeps saying Alex won’t be missing us because he’ll be having far too much fun).
Anyway before we know it you’ll be back home with us, I’ve made some plans for what we’ll do when you return. I literally can’t wait to kiss, hug and smell you.

Bye for now my love…, love you endlessly.

From Dad, Mum, Carsel & Nana xoxo

  26. Andy Murphy says:

    Hi Caitlin,

It sounds like a busy day yesterday. Low ropes sounds like good practice for the high ropes at Niamh’s party. And yes the birthday girl is missing you like the rest of us. Bad news on the cake front I’m afraid. It looks like George has eaten it all…

    Lots of love

    Dad, Mum, Niamh and George
    xxxx

@stephen peers – Caitlin sleeps like an angel. It’s Rachel that snores…

  27. Kosovare says:

Hi Atdhetare and all year 6 I hope you have a great time with your friendes we mis you a lot I can’t wait till friday to see you .
Iwish you all the best love you mum and dad your two brothers Atdhe and Eris xxxx

  28. Trixie says:

Hi it’s Trix! Like dad said, you need to get your wellies wet. Please. Salman are you still doing the river activity? If you are, please make sure everyone brings a spare change of socks. The water goes right over you wellies into your boots if you splash- it’s soggy but really fun! I can’t remember where the best radiators are but make sure you find a good one and put your feet up. It’s a bit uncomfy but it’s worth it!
If you need any tips for tomorrow, let me know!!!!! Ask Salman if he can put some VERY IMPORTANT questions up in the blog if it is very important.
    Enjoy!
Love you Cora, sleep tight, don’t worry I’ve only been on your laptop to do homework once and your room is pretty much how you left it! Aka messy. Lita will have come by the time you get home though. No tidying for you. Sad world.
Gtg, doing homework then DOCTOR WHO, so I have to go, byeeeeeeee!
(Little WHITE girl is out… byeeeeeeee!!!!! Liza koshy)
    Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Also I reckon about 20-30 steps.

  29. Niamh Murphy says:

Dear Caitlin, I’ve missed you so much that I want to hug you right now. Love from niamh ❀️

  30. Rachel Murphy says:

Hi Caitlin, I hope I am not too late for you to read this tonight. Niamh had a lovely birthday morning opening her presents. She can’t wait to show you them….. especially a pink cuddly unicorn! Can’t wait to see you on Friday and hear all about your week.
    Mummy xxxx

  31. Olivia says:

    Hi Louie,
I hope you’re having a great time! Has it rained yet? It’s quiet here without you and not sure if that’s good or bad – probably good!
Are you in the attic, because that would be bad….I wouldn’t have liked it. Bad luck if you are!
Looking forward to seeing you on Friday even if you bring your noise with you!
I hope you haven’t been misbehaving for Salman, Christianne, Becca and Tony!
    Olivia πŸ™‚ :-0 😑

PS, Salman, do you actualy mean the diamond jubilee because my mum and dad said there were no recycled bottle tops in 1977- i think you do because there were about 60 steps.

  32. Olivia says:

    Louie,
Sorry, Olivia didn’t want to put an angry face – I’d put a different face and it came out angry when posted!
    Mummy xxxx

  33. Aldhun Levitt says:

    Hi Lola and Year 6

Hope you are all having a fabulous time! Lola, I hope your head is ok? Tony told us you bumped it yesterday. I am sure you are having a fabulous time. Ticcy is missing you pretty badly and he escaped again today! Freddy is asleep as usual, after having worked all night and Ottie is complaining that supper is late. We can make the green spaghetti when you are back! So, have a fab time, we all miss you but look forward to seeing you on Friday. xoxo All of us. Xx

  34. Rachel Murphy says:

Hi Caitlin, Niamh and I both sent messages but they didn’t seem to publish. Technology eh? You know it’s not one of my strengths. Niamh is face timing with Nanny and Grandad right now telling them about her birthday presents. She can’t wait to show you, especially a pink cuddly unicorn that arrived from Aldershot. Can’t wait to hear all about your week darling. Do you remember the story of when I went to Brownie camp when I was your age? Hopefully that won’t happen to you.
    Lots of love Mummy xxx

  35. Sarah Allen says:

    Hiya
    25 I imagine?
Sounds like an awesome day yesterday – hope it did the trick and forced the kids to sleep!?!
Hope today has been just as adventurous?
Edie – we are all missing you enormously. Lara is full of plans to welcome you home on Friday so I know you’re on her mind. She did tell me ‘I don’t need to argue with anyone with Edie away’!!! We all know how much she likes to wind you up! She’s also drawn you a very decorative postcard but I think it might have to wait until you’re home as I think the amount of decorations on it, it won’t get into an envelope!
You have a letter here by the way – it doesn’t have a stamp so I think it might be from Catrin. You’ll be able to open it Friday.
I hope you’re enjoying every minute of the week and no doubt getting involved in everything –
I can’t say I like the silence… where’s our girl whistling and singing all day!!! Looking forward to having you back – but enjoy the rest of it. We may NEVER let you go again (joking… or am I):)
Loads of love, Mummy – Sarah

  36. Rebecca says:

    STOP PRESS

    Charlie just said the following:
“In a way, I do miss Jess. It would be nice to see her.”

  37. Dark Lord says:

    Boooooom
    Daddy

    PS – having fun??

  39. Ron Rood says:

    Woohooo Lena!

It sounds like you have had another wonderful and exiting day! I spent my day volunteering in the Sevenoaks Wildlife Park today, not too far where you are staying – I’ll tell you all about it once you’ve come back. At some point during the day I did sense special fibrations coming my way – I couldn’t recognize immediately though it felt as if you, my monkeykin, were very nearby! Imagine: I have been digging ponds and replacing old benches very close to where you are now! I am curious to hear from you what you have been doing all day – I continue to imagine myself having a little camera in my head, though I can’t wait to hear stories directly from you.

Sweet dreams tonight, Lena – imagine yourself paragliding, high up in the sky, surrounded by total silence.

    xx,

    Mum, Dad & Chiem

  40. Susie says:

  41. Daniel B's mum says:

Hi babe hope your well and having the best time! Natalia dragged me out this evening to the Emirates to watch my first adult ⚽️match, Arsenal v Doncaster. I enjoyed the match, we had good seat and a great view. Your mate Theo Walcott scored the one and only goal, YES! Can’t wait to go again with you!

I feel quite sure that you’re trying everything that’s new, enjoy yourself Dan’s, as you will be back before you know it!

Thank you, for looking after them, I hope everyone enjoying themselves.
Kenzo! House is too empty without you! We can’t wait for you to come back.
We all have terrible cold including Yulya, so you are missing absolutely nothing in London.
Activities sound great, i wish i was there with you and I hope you at list tried some of that lamb curry, hoping fresh air will have a possitive effect on your appetite and you will eat πŸ™‚
    Enjoy your time away
