Bentley is missing you so much – he’s been in your rooms quite a lot, but also seems to think that we’ve hidden you in the bathroom especially when Laura is in there – he tries to dig you out. We’ve decided to focus on his education to distract him and he’s learning a new word, which is “pub”. That’s where we took him last night. Mr B and I had a Hallumi salad. B ate all the Hallumi and one tomoto which accidentally rolled on the floor and he had to chase it. There were three other dogs present, probably also learning “pub”. Bent went the furthest on his learning journey as he stayed awake for the whole lesson – the other three fell asleep. but enough about Mr B, daddy had fishcakes which looked very sloppy.
As usual, daddy left for work very early and I’m about to head off. It’s very weird here without you, the house seems very empty and quite tidy. We were speculating about who you’re sharing with. I think you’re in one of the big rooms with six people sharing – wish you could send us a message. We should have been learning telepathy all these years. Hope you have a fantastic day today and don’t use up all your socks.

Hi Hazel!!!! We all miss you so much and we hope you’re having a great time. The house is sooo different without you here. Dear Year 6, I am so, so glad that you have had a great start to your school journey! I am really proud of you all – taking on new challenges and having fun together.
School is quieter without you and the playground seems pretty empty at lunchtime! We are also missing your amazing lunchtime helper skills, though the year 5s are doing a good job at living up to your high standards.
