What a beautiful birthday cake and nice surprise. Happy Birthday Richard – we will see you at home for (guess what?) more cake and celebration! Trusting Amy passed on your birthday card – thank you, Amy! We got your card today too, Richard. And so did lots of the other parents. 🙂 Loved the scoring and well done for pushing yourself on the climbing. Hope you all had fun at the disco. I like the idea of a crumble-o-meter. Thank you Salman for keeping us up to date with humour and panache! You deserve a large batch of chocolate custard. And thanks to all the staff for being there. Enjoy your journey home. xoxo

  6. Kay (Juliet's mum) says:

I did consider having a ‘growth mindset’ but then I thought, no, that’s total gibberish. I hope (and know) you feel the same, Jules. See you tomorrow xxxx

    P.S
Don’t worry Kez and Samson have been tidying up after themselves everyday so you will not be coming back to a messy room. Nana, Grandad Aunty n Unc all send their love. I can’t wait for you to come back and tell us stories! Xxx love you loads. Xxx

Thank you for your lovely postcard Euan. What a nice surprise! It sounds like you are having a great time, and well done on the climbing, that’s really great. I knew you could do it 🙂 I can’t wait to hear all about your week this evening. Your dad will pick you up from school, and I will rush back from work as quickly as possible. Miss you loads! Love you loads! I hope your journey back is safe and not too long xxxx❤️

  17. Stuart (Juliet's dad) says:

    Hey Juliet
What a treat to get your postcard yesterday. Sounds like you’re having a great time. Mummy’s desperate to see you later. I’ll see you tomorrow night – can”t wait! xxx

  18. mervyn's mum says:

    Good morning everyone,
Sounds like you all had an amazing week. Dear Mervyn please make sure you remember to pack everything, especially your bed sheets and pillow case, look forward to seeing you later today. Loveeeeeee you sooooooo much. xxxxxxxx

    Safe journey back everyone.

  19. Vicky, Ian and Louie says:

Fab cake! And we’ll miss the daily updates. Salman, I think you should be an even more regular feature of the school blog. How about a daily school update?! I’m sure a dungeon can be found for you somewhere in North London.

    Hey Olivia,

Looking forward to seeing you later and hearing all about your amazing week. I can reassure you that your room is untouched and the sewing machine has gathered dust – think it has been a bit lonely! I hope you enjoyed the disco. Bet you’re shattered. You could always break the habit of a lifetime and have a snooze on the way back…. Get a bit of practice for the ski trip next Feb? Perhaps not.

Hope the traffic is good on the way back (I think Louie does, too, as I’ll be able to pick him up early, too – less school is always a good thing as far as he’s concerned!). I’ll be there waiting for you but Daddy is running climbing club this week so will be back a bit later, although I’m sure he’ll rush back as soon as he can.

Big Zee and Poppy are still in a bit of a huff, but I’ll bet they get over it as soon as you’re back to give them some tickles and let them into their favourite room in the house. All that wool! And all those fabric scraps to lie on and play with (not to mention hair bands)!

    xxxxx

PS You’ll be pleased to know you’ll get some peace and quiet on Sunday morning as Louie going to rugby again – he’s been counting the days til Sunday all week.

  20. lucy says:

And a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Richard.

Not sure my previous post has landed – think laptop might have eaten it!

    Here’s hoping it’s regurgitated. 😉

Maybe not the best thought to leave you with as you embark on a coach trip. Go easy on the sweets . . .

    xxxxxxxx

  21. lucy says:

    Hello Trixie

Not long now before you’re home. I hope I’m not too late with this post. I’m really looking forward to hearing all the stories from your week away – well, those which are fit for parental ears ;-).

How was the disco? I think a fitting final blog from Salman would be a video of the staff dancing. I bet Salman and Tony do a stanky-leg to behold. Maybe it got competitive? I’m thinking a stank-off . . .

Can’t wait to see you and hear all about it. It’s a beautiful day. I’m counting the hours. Not many left! 🙂 🙂 🙂

    All my love Mummy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  22. Darren Green says:

Lewis and me have missed you very much Hayden, it’s never the same when one of us noisy boys are not at home x
