  8. Eleanor (Daniel’s Mum) says:

    Hi Daniel
I’m not sure if you will get this message before we see you, but we wanted to all say hello, and wow what an amazing adventure you have had! And still more activities to come. The beach looked lovely, hope you had great fun and can take us there one day, I’m sure Petal would love running around and digging just like you! Florence thought fish and chip shop tea would be the perfect welcome home though it sounds like you have eaten a tonne of potatoes this week. I guess they are a vegetable…
Don’t forget to say thank you to your teachers for taking you all on the trip, sure they deserve a medal!
Can’t wait to see you! Lots of love from Mummy, Daddy, Florence and Petal.

  9. Steph (Lottie’s mum) says:

    Darling Lottie,
OK I admit it the novelty of having a calm, quiet and tidy house is wearing off. I absolutely cannot wait to meet you from the bus tomorrow and see the gorgeous smile I have missed so much. We are all looking forward to hearing the stories of your week. I bet you are going to seem even more grown up after all you will have achieved this week. It’s probably going to seem very boring at home! Maybe we can set you up an assault course in the garden and we might be able to stretch to a hot chocolate at night but there will definitely not be any KFC!
See you soon Lulu, love mum xxxxx

Thanks also to all the fantastic Ashmount team for everything you have done this week, especially Salmon for the brilliant updates.

  10. Laetitia & Famille (Adam’s mum) says:

    Hi Adam,

I am sure you had a great time. Enjoy your last morning. Read your book in the coach, time flies when you read a book.
See you later. Have a safe journey back home inshallah. Take care xxxx see you later. ….

  11. Steve (lotties dad) says:

    Hi Lottie

Its been great reading the blog and keeping up to date with your adventures but it will be even better to have you back home and hear about it all from you!

Looking forward to seeing you later Lovely Lulu!

  12. GB's dad says:

    My “GB”,

I can’t wait to see you, hug you and hear all about your adventures! I’m sure you will look so much more grown up when we see you, having done and learned souch over the week! There is a Springsteen song that goes “we learned more from a three minute record (record means “song”) than we ever learned in school” – from what I’ve read you must all be feeling that way about your residential, which is exactly what this week was about (note that school learning is still super important though, you’re not getting out of it!). I am so proud of how you’ve dealt with the setback of the second day and very glad you stayed and made the most of it. Finally, we loved your postcard, it made our day – I may be showing my age here but a postcard will beat a tweet, post or email any day!

Safe travels and see you in a few hours,

    Daddy

PS Salman thank you for your daily updates, they helped us all feel a little like we were there with our children. Big thanks to all other staff on the trip for looking after them. Finally, Lucy – thank you for your help this week.

  13. Melanie says:

    Morning Molly,
    Yay it’s Friday!
Loved having a brief peek at your YMCA moves (thanks Twitter)! I wonder who did your hair for you.
Good luck with your packing later. You might need a few friends to sit on your case to help shut it !
I am running super late for work – oops! Better get my skates on.
I love you so much Molly Moo and cannot wait to see you later.

  19. Naiomi (Angelise) says:

    Hey Ang

KFC huh! Well no doubt we will have a few welcome home treats to lure you back home but I don’t think suffering battery chickens will be one of them (sorry can’t help myself). I know you have a lot of stuff to pack remember to roll them up tightly stuff them into the corners, there a pocket in the front and the inside, leave the soap and toothbrushes but just try your best Honeychild. Everyone here is looking forward to having you back to ourselves. Don’t know if you have any time left to read this but see you soon beautiful.

  20. Gemma (olivia kayes mum) says:
